Senior Java Backend Software Developer

You will be responsible for:

• Analyze user requirements and plan development steps
• Cooperation with the stakeholders of the specialist departments
• Requirements analysis, design, development, testing and documentation of backend and elementary front end architecture
• Maintenance, analysis and correction of problems and program error
• Quality assurance and code testing
• Application bug fixing and troubleshooting
• Participation in the improvement of development and integration processes
• Demonstrate self motivation and initiative by accepting challenges and seeking out novel approaches

Skills and qualifications:

• Completed computer science studies, a comparable education or skills demonstrated by several years of practical work experience as a software developer (ideally with certificate)
• Advanced level experience with Java
• In depth knowledge of Java (Spring/SpringBoot), Javascript (React/Angular/Vue)
• 5+ years of professional experience in the entire life cycle of software and database development including documentation
• Enthusiasm, self-motivation
• Ability to work in a team and pronounced communication skills in German and English
• Sound knowledge of web application development with Java, XML, Spring, Angular JS, SQL and REST including unit tests
• Practical experience with MySQL, UML, XSLT and UX design is an advantage
• Excellent English communication skills 
• High level of motivation
