Senior Java Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Engineer to join our team and play a key role in developing and optimising high-performance applications that handle millions of requests. You will work on challenging scalability problems, design a robust backend solutions, and ensure our systems deliver exceptional speed and reliability under heavy load.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-throughput Java applications using Spring Boot
• Optimize application performance to handle large volumes of concurrent requests with minimal latency
• Write efficient SQL queries and optimize database interactions for speed and scalability
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks through profiling, load testing, and code optimization
• Implement caching strategies, connection pooling, and other techniques to improve system throughput
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver scalable solutions
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
• Monitor application health and proactively address performance issues in production

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in Java development
• Strong expertise in Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem (Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security)
• Solid experience with relational databases and SQL optimization (indexing, query tuning, execution plans)
• Proven track record of building and scaling high-traffic applications
• Deep understanding of concurrency, multithreading, and asynchronous processing in Java
• Experience with performance profiling tools (JProfiler, VisualVM, or similar)
• Familiarity with caching solutions (Redis, Memcached) and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Knowledge of RESTful API design and microservices architecture
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Fluent level in English communication both written and verbal
• Availability for frequent travel to client sites (Dubai)

Nice to Have:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
