What you'll be doing:
Your responsibilities will include:
- Manage and support our Modeling domain which consists of 4 Product Teams: Web Modeler, Desktop Modeler, Play, and Connectors. This involves the management of two Engineering Managers, and the direct management of two teams working with Frontend technologies.
- Ensure the success of the Modeling domain overall, which forms a significant, critical part of the product. This requires you to support and collaborate Product Management to define the roadmap, and to take technical and architecture decisions in alignment with your teams.
- Further improve the collaboration and alignment between teams in the Modeling domain: invest into processes and culture, that allow the Modeling teams to share knowledge and help each other.
*This is a remote role and can be based anywhere where we are eligible to hire, please find a list of available countries here. Please note that the majority of this domain is based in the CET region and an overlap of 4 hours in working hours is required for collaboration.
What You’ll Bring:
- Ability and/or willingness to use our product
- Experience as Manager of Managers, as well as direct Manager of Engineers. Feel comfortable with a span of control of 10.
- Deep technical understanding and motivation to drill down into technical conversations. Knowledge in at least one programming language (preferably JavaScript).
You thrive in taking ownership of the codebase, as well as how you deploy and operate software. You are comfortable with the “you build it, you run it” mindset.
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience developing graphical Modeling tooling, ideally BPMN
- Experience using or developing Integration Software (ESB, EAI, iPaaS)

What We Have to Offer:
Compensation
Below is the annual Total Target Cash Compensation (Total Cash) range for Camundi located in one of our entities. Total Cash refers to base salary and 100% attainment of variable target, where applicable. Actual Total Cash offered will depend on factors such as skills and qualifications related to the role. To comprise the Total Rewards package, Camunda also offers equity (where applicable) in the form of a Virtual Employee Stock Option Plan and benefits based on the country of residence.
The annual Total Cash range for this position for Camundi in our entities is as follows:
- United States: $174,900.00 to $262,400.00
- Germany: €116,300.00 to €174,500.00
- United Kingdom: £113,400.00 to £170,000.00
- Singapore: S$217,200.00 to S$325,800.00
