Job Description:
We are a team of system engineers responsible for Avast Datacenters and Networking. This ecosystem requires a non-stop care, troubleshooting and dealing with complex incidents. If you enjoy the responsibility and also would be able to bring a new vision and innovation, you could become our new team mate. What we would like you to do…
- Propose enhancements to the teams’ way of working to elevate efficiency and delivery excellence
- Troubleshoot and solve issues while driving the needed communication with the partner
- Directly communicate with partner on technical matters as well as with the members of Avast core product teams
- Prepare needed documentation and delivery documents
- Be multi-instrumental with a passion for technologies and learning
- Have experience with network automation in either Python, Bash or Ansible
- Be skilled in networking (DC, WAN, WLAN/LAN), integration, building new frameworks
- Be able design & implement own infrastructure solution
- Communicate and discuss issues with others and find solutions
Experience with
- Proven knowledge of networking principles and operation, advantage is following set of technologies (Cisco, Checkpoint, AVI Networks, F5 Networks)
- Public cloud deployments & operation – AWS/Azure/GCP
- Strong focus on automation (REST API, Jenkins, GitHub). Scripting language knowledge is welcome (Python preferred).
- Ability to maintain and understand Linux OS is plus either on desktop or server.
- Collaboration and communication skills
- Be well-versed in leveraging tooling & automation and measuring everything
- Accept failure as normal and be happy to implement changes
- Understand IaC principles and have hands-on experience with Git
- Have tech-debate-level English speaking skills
- English written and spoken
