About the Role
The next phase of the MetaMask browser extension will bring transformative new features to the web3 ecosystem, while strengthening the flagship features that empower our users today. Developing these new features within our secure plugin framework will be a paradigm shift for wallet users and developers alike.
We are looking for collaborative product managers to drive the development of these plugins. In this role, you will ensure that MetaMask continues to support our mission of democratizing access to the decentralized web.
To apply for this position, you must have:
- 3+ years of consumer-facing software product management experience
- Demonstrated interest or experience with blockchain related development and web3 technologies through any of: work experience, hackathons, open source work, personal projects, or similar experiences.
- Familiarity with agile processes (e.g. Scrum, Kanban), and tools (e.g. Notion, Figma, GitHub, MixPanel)
- Experience in roles requiring close collaboration with Design, QA and Engineering.
- A heavily data-driven approach to product decisions and prioritization
- Proactive and self-driven to be successful working in a remote environment
- Are kind, empathetic, and supportive towards the team
- Timezone: Ideally between PT and ET, if in EU/UK you are able to have ~4 hours overlap with continental US time zones.

- Great understanding of the Ethereum blockchain and ecosystem.
- Prior experience with product management of plugins of any sort.
- Previous experience managing a product with a developer-facing API.
Role Requirements
As a product manager on this team, you would contribute in the following areas:
- Deliver realistic and timely backlogs, timelines, project plans and release plans.
- Be a liaison between different teams within MetaMask.
- Wear many hats in the early days as we ramp the team and specialize later.
- Building a deep understanding of our users and existing products.
- Developing a framework for prioritization of our many potential partnerships and opportunities — we can extend MetaMask in a nearly unlimited number of directions. What’s the build sequence?
- Work with our design, QA, and engineering teams to build the best possible plugin products with compelling user experiences, while working within a secure execution environment and templated design system.
- Regard the Snaps API as a critical product in its own right, managing a backlog of changes to meet evolving developer requirements.
