About the team:
FIS Front Arena is a leading global provider of financial software. We build systems for financial trading, risk management and position control, and support the whole process from sell-side to buy-side, front-to-back.
What you will be doing:
- Creating and maintaining automated test scripts
- Preparing and executing test plans along with all other aspects of software testing
- Identifying, logging and tracking of software defects
- Mentor junior colleagues
- Continuously improve QA Processes’ and Standards
- Interpret functional requirements and translate them into test requirements
- Analyzing complex platform problems
- Working on designing and implementing CI pipeline testing stages
What you bring:
- Agile Software Methodology Experience
- Understands software development life cycle process and various testing techniques including a proficiency in system testing
- Good knowledge of one or more programming or scripting languages or test management tools (Python, Robot Framework, Selenium, TestRail, Jira,...)
- Relational Database Knowledge – SQL
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, SSH
- Experience with CI testing stages
- Linux fundamentals (Command line navigation and basic features, file system, permissions, networking, etc.)
- Windows (Permissions, services, file system, Event Viewer, etc.)
Added bonus if you have experience:
- With financial markets, equity and fixed income securities and related back office processing
- With communication protocols for exchange of securities transaction information (i.e. Financial Information Exchange - FIX protocol)
- ISTQB certified or higher desirable
