Senior Software QA Engineer (Manual Testing)

We’re looking for a Senior Manual QA Engineer who will ensure that products meet the highest standards of functionality, usability, and regulatory compliance before reaching our players.

Role Overview

As a Senior Software QA Engineer, you will take ownership of testing across multiple iGaming products and platforms, ensuring an exceptional user experience from start to finish. You’ll work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to validate new features, identify issues early, and continuously improve our QA practices.

This is a hands-on role for a detail-oriented tester who thrives on understanding complex gaming flows, regulatory requirements, and user interactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Test Planning & Execution
• Analyze product requirements, specifications to design detailed and effective test cases.
• Execute manual test cases across desktop, mobile, and cross-device testing.
• Conduct thorough Functional, Regression, Integration, API Testing, and end-to-end testing.
• Good mathematical analytical skills to support Backend testing.
• Assist with smoke tests, release validations, and post-launch QA activities
• Validate backend events related to gameplay using Postman
• Validate data accuracy and integrity across gaming systems and third-party integrations

Quality Assurance

• Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA or Azure DevOps or a similar tracking tool.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to reproduce and resolve issues efficiently.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release readiness reviews.
• Ensure testing activities align with iGaming regulations and responsible gaming standards.

Domain Expertise

• Test key gaming functions, including casino games, RNG behavior, bet settlements, bonus systems, and player account flows.
• Sound knowledge of RTP tests.
• Conduct exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and potential UX issues.

Process Improvement

• Contribute to test documentation standards, QA checklists, and regression test suites.
• Mentor junior QA engineers, sharing best practices and domain knowledge.
• Suggest improvements to QA workflows, communication, and risk management.

Requirements
Must-Have:

• 5+ years of experience in software QA, with at least 2+ years in a Senior Manual QA role.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies.
• Proven experience testing iGaming, casino, or sports betting platforms would be considered a strong adventage.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps, Confluence, and test case management tools.
• Practical experience with JMeter for load, stress, and performance testing.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to write clear, structured, and reproducible defect reports.
• Strong communication skills and experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Nice-to-Have:

• Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for performance testing.
• Experience testing backend APIs with tools like Postman.
• Understanding of automation concepts and CI/CD processes (though not the primary focus).
• Familiarity with performance, usability, or compliance testing in gaming contexts.
