We’re seeking an experienced Senior Test Automation Engineer with a strong background in Back-end and API testing to ensure the quality and logicof our AI-driven applications.
The ideal candidate has a sharp eye for detail, understands complex system interactions, and can validate dialogue logic and AI responses with precision. There will be a strong focus on developing, expanding, and maintaining automated test coverage.

Our Customer is a Canadian technology company specializing in the development of independent voice AI solutions for businesses. Its platform enables brands to create custom voice assistants that provide natural interaction with users through speech.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance
- Solid experience in Back-end testing and API validation
- Proficiency with Postman or similar API testing tools (e.g., Insomnia, Swagger, REST Assured)
- Strong analytical skills and experience testing business logic and complex data flows
- Familiarity with JSON, XML, and related data formats
- Ability to write clear and comprehensive test cases, edge cases, and regression scenarios
- Experience of working closely with developers and AI teams to understand the expected behavior of AI-generated responses
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Advanced level of English
- Willigness to in the UTC + 01:00 time zone
WOULD BE A PLUS:
- Experience with automated API testing frameworks (e.g., Postman tests, Newman, pytest, or similar)
- Familiarity with tools like ChatGPT, Rasa, Dialogflow, or similar AI dialogue frameworks
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines

- Manage test cases and defects using tools such as Jira and Xray, ensuring efficient test execution and bug tracking
- Work within an Agile environment, applying BDD, TDD, and ATDD techniques for continuous improvement
