Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer who will play a crucial role in shaping the visual and interactive aspects of our digital products. This position is ideal for someone passionate about creating seamless and engaging user experiences. As the sole (and first!) designer on our team, you will have a broad range of responsibilities, from crafting user interface art assets to conducting user research and usability testing. You will be instrumental in ensuring our platform is both visually appealing and user-friendly, aligning with the best practices in the industry.

Responsibilities:

• Design and create visually compelling and user-friendly UI/UX elements, including menus, buttons, icons, and other interface components.
• Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to illustrate user interfaces and interactions.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure design consistency and alignment with business goals.
• Maintain and enhance the visual identity and branding of Evolvewell's digital products.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure our designs are modern and innovative.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members as the team grows.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills and past work.
• Skills:
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma or similar.
  • Ability to create high-fidelity wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
  • Experience with user research and usability testing.
  • Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to produce high-quality content quickly without sacrificing quality.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with responsive and mobile design is a plus.
  • Excellent teamwork skills with great communication and organization capabilities.
  • Team player who gladly speaks their mind, and responds well to constructive feedback.
  • Strong branding abilities.
  • Adaptable to a fast-paced environment and able to embrace having many projects running at the same time.
• Education: A degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field is preferred but not required if you have equivalent practical experience.
