Chainlink Labs is looking for a Senior UX Researcher to facilitate engagement and collaboration across various disciplines in the business, and to work with our product design team to help create a more user-centered design. As our Sr. UX Researcher, you will help ensure that our customer’s needs are properly understood and seriously considered.
Your Impact
- Work closely with the Product Developers, Product Managers, Product Designers, and other product departments to promote best practices in UX research.
- Plan and execute UX research at every stage of the product’s lifecycle; from its conceptualization, prototype validations, all the way to usability tests on the final product.
- Put users at the center of a design to make it simple, easy to use, and aesthetically appealing.
- Develop a well-crafted research plan with clear research objectives.
- Write usability research screeners and discussion guides.
- Recruit targeted end-users for specific research studies.
- Moderate usability sessions.
- Help develop and implement quantitative surveys.
- Conduct stakeholder and client interviews.
- Document and present actionable product research findings to various Product Management departments.
- Provide clear points of improvement for the product and research approaches to various product teams as well as other key stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Association, Marketing, Economics, Computer Science, Cognitive Science, Psychology, Information Science, or any other related field. A working experience of the equivalent is also acceptable for the position.
- 5+ years of work experience in statistical analysis, qualitative analysis, quantitative analysis, product usability moderating, experimental design, and test method selection. In addition, a candidate for this position must have had proven successful experience in the integration of UX Research into a business’ best practices.
- Experience in usability testing tools in a remote environment
- Must possess excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Effective problem-solving skills are critical
- Must have an interest or some experience in Sketch, InDesign, Illustrator, Keynote, and Photoshop computer software
