What you’d do
- Develop and maintain Excel VSTO add-ins using C#/.NET (up to version .NET Framework 4.8.1)
- Use WPF to create dynamic and user friendly interfaces
- Debug production issues that don’t appear in the dev environment
- Work with network engineers and IT teams to resolve firewall, TLS, and deployment issues
- Create MSI installers / clickonce deployments, as well as coordinate third party services for enterprise rollouts
- Optimize add-in performance and prevent Excel crashes
- Implement error logging & remote debugging solutions
Requirements
- 5+ years of C#/.NET development (preferably in VSTO, Office Add-ins, or enterprise software), or similar experience in a different OOPL
- Experience with network debugging for end users (firewalls, proxies, TLS/SSL, API requests)
- Proficient using git version control
Nice to have
- Familiarity with MSIX/MSI/ClickOnce deployment & Excel registry setting
- Expertise in debugging VSTO add-ins and COM object handling, both in a dev environment and in a client’s production environment
- Experience commercializing .exes and the related software distribution, licensing and code obfuscation
