Software Developer (AI-first)

Smote is hiring a Software Developer to build AI-powered web and mobile products. You’ll join a lean team working with modern tools to deliver fast, scalable applications.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain web apps using modern frameworks
• Integrate AI models and workflows
• Contribute to mobile (iOS/Android) projects
• Write clean, testable code and review peers’ work
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance

Requirements

• 3+ years of software development experience
• Strong skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js
• Solid understanding of APIs, databases, and cloud deployment
• Comfortable with Git and CI/CD workflows
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Nice to Have

• AI-first development experience (LLMs, embeddings, AI APIs)
• Mobile app expertise (iOS/Android)
• Fluent in English and Serbian
• Startup or early-stage team experience
