The Role:

Reporting to the Manager of Development, you will be working in a customer-focused, innovative, challenging and fun learning environment. You will be responsible for the implementation of software tools producing various output formats optimized for accessibility, utilized by our customers' blind and low vision end-users.

Responsibilities:

• Perform analysis, design, development, testing, and debugging of computer software.
• Develop high quality and reliable software components.   
• Work with fellow developers and quality assurance to implement features and fixes.
• Contribute to the team’s best practices and development standards. 

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience with Windows environment and .NET programming
• Skilled in using JavaScript libraries and frameworks
• Knowledge of HTML and XML
• Understanding of databases and SQL
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe tools
• At least 1 year actual work experience in software development environment (not school projects and internships)
• Post-secondary degree in Computer Science or related 
• Willingness to attend some meetings within Allyant core working hours of 9am - 5pm ET (North America).
