WHAT TO EXPECT IN THIS ROLE

• Your journey as a Software Developer at CHEQSITE begins with the implementation of moderately complex frontend or backend modules. Together with our senior developers, you'll help lay the foundation for the next generation of our software.
• As a backend developer, you'll primarily work with Java Spring Boot.
• In DevOps, you'll support the setup and maintenance of our server infrastructure, monitoring tools, and CI/CD pipelines.
• As a frontend developer, you'll implement moderately complex frontend modules using Vue.js or SAPUI5.
• Our web and desktop applications sync seamlessly with our native Android (Java/Kotlin) and iOS (Swift) apps - giving you the opportunity to expand your skills into mobile development if you’re interested.
• In industrial research and development projects, we explore cross-platform development, augmented reality (AR), artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning (ML).
• We also use Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure Cloud, Google Cloud Services, and many other platforms and technologies to deliver our services.

WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT

• You're a passionate programmer who wants to help shape practical and appealing software.
• Having already proven your skills in a professional setting, you're eager to keep learning and growing.
• You have solid experience with Java Spring Boot for back-end development. Knowledge of other JavaScript, PHP, or Python frameworks like Electron, Node.js, Django, Laravel, or Symfony is a plus, but not a must.
• In DevOps, you've worked with well-known cloud providers, modern monitoring tools (e.g. Grafana, Elasticsearch, Kibana), and CI/CD pipelines.
• As a front-end developer, you bring experience with Vue.js or another modern JavaScript web framework to the table, such as Angular, OpenUI5 / SAPUI5, React, Ember.js or Flutter as an alternative.
• You're confident working with both NoSQL and SQL databases like Couchbase, MongoDB, MySQL, or SQLite.
• As a senior developer, you use code reviews not only to ensure functionality, but also to mentor junior and mid-level developers on elegant coding practices.
• Fluent communication in either German or English is essential.
