For the first time, Schneider Electric’s Asset Management ArcFM team is looking for new team members in Novi Sad. The Asset Management ArcFM team is focused on end-to-end utility design and asset management built on the Esri GIS platform. We currently have some outstanding opportunities for individuals to be part of our product development team as Software Engineers.
About the Role
Your daily routine here at Schneider Electric will include participation on an Agile team developing state-of-the-art software. You will collaborate with other software engineers, quality assurance engineers, product owners, product managers across teams to build an excellent user experience for our utility industry customers. Our software is developed on the Microsoft .NET C# stack often using the Esri GIS software platform. We build cloud-hosted applications using micro-services in the Microsoft Azure cloud.
About You
Are you a software developer with a BS in Computer Science or equivalent level of degree and experience? Do you have experience developing in the Microsoft .NET stack using C#? If so, then our role might be your next great opportunity! If you also have a solid background with object-oriented methodologies and design patterns and are eager to continually expand your software development abilities, this might be a perfect fit for you. If you would like to be part of an Agile team developing great solutions throughout the entire software development lifecycle, then we want you!
What will set you apart
If you meet the qualifications in the 'About You' section, there are additional things that will set you apart from other applicants. These are not required but are nice to have.
- Utility industry experience
- Front-end development experience using Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) / Microsoft XAML
- Knowledge of secure software development.
- Experience with the ESRI suite of software including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Runtime and Enterprise
- Practiced with a database such as Oracle or SQL Server.
- Enterprise architecture work such as REST and Messaging.
