That’s why we are building Syrup, an AI-powered predictive software platform for inventory decisions in commerce. By leveraging more data in real-time, we empower merchandising and planning teams with allocation, ordering, and inventory management recommendations.

About The Role
You will take a pivotal role in deploying our platform for clients, ensuring seamless integration and customization to meet their specific business needs. You will act as a bridge between our technical team and clients, providing expertise in solution design, deployment strategies, and system integration. Your ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions will be critical in ensuring successful platform adoption.
You Will:

Deliver scalable solutions that meet customer objectives, quickly and reliably

Be the Syrup technical expert and person responsible for the design of the solution and decisions critical to the customer's success on the platform

Conduct pre-sale advisory with customers during the sales process to assist the go-to-market function in positioning Syrup’s solution

Understand what customers want from the product, both holistically in terms of the key metrics they want to drive, down to the detail of which type of inventory movements they consider good or not

Lead technical and strategic conversations with clients to define business requirements and architect a recommended solution leveraging Syrup’s product, existing customer technology and other

Contribute to the product roadmap by raising and synthesising customer requirements into scalable augmentations of our product

Manage the end-to-end of the customer implementation by creating a plan and communicating any changes to it

Be flexible to travel up to 25% of the time
You Have:
-
5+ years as a Solutions Architect or similar role (eg: Sales Engineer) in a data-heavy high growth B2B SaaS company

The ability to solve problems that is second to none. You understand problems quickly, are resourceful with the tools at your disposal, and can be creative in solving for customers’ needs.

Experience creating positive partnerships with internal teams and customers; people trust your advice to help them make better decisions

Proven success with delivering projects on time, in scope, and to customer business objectives

The ability to conceptualize multiple solutions to a given problem, and an understanding of the trade-offs between accuracy, timeliness, and scalability

Strong data skills, including proficiency with SQL or Python

Strong English language in written and verbal communication skills

Experience with retail technology is a plus

We offer competitive base pay with the UK salary range of 70,000 - 110,000 GBP, and a similarly competitive range in other locations. Salary is commensurate with experience, generous early-stage equity package, and benefits including medical/dental/vision.
