Position Summary:

The Senior Capstone Application Analyst is responsible for the configuration, implementation, support, and optimization of the Capstone application suite. This role ensures system integrity, provides functional and technical expertise, and partners with stakeholders to improve processes and user satisfaction. The analyst acts as a lead resource in projects, mentoring junior team members while aligning system capabilities with business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Application Management & Support

• Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for the Capstone system and associated modules
• Manage application lifecycle including configuration, upgrades, patches, and vendor coordination
• Monitor application performance and troubleshoot system issues, ensuring minimal downtime

Business Process Analysis & Optimization

• Collaborate with users and business units to gather requirements and recommend system improvements
• Analyze existing workflows and identify areas for automation and optimization
• Document technical and functional specifications for enhancements and integrations

Project Management & Implementation

• Lead or support Capstone-related projects including implementation of new modules or features
• Ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and according to specifications
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders

Training & Documentation

• Develop user training materials and conduct training sessions
• Maintain system documentation, process workflows, and knowledge base articles
• Provide Tier 2/3 support for end-users and helpdesk escalations

Compliance & Data Governance

• Ensure Capstone usage aligns with organizational policies, security standards, and regulatory compliance
• Participate in audits and system validation efforts

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education & Experience

• Fluent in English – level B2 or better
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• 5+ years of experience in application analysis, with at least 3 years supporting Capstone or similar ERP/enterprise applications
• Prior experience in systems implementation, integration, and lifecycle management

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in database querying (SQL), reporting tools, and system configuration
• Familiarity with Capstone system architecture, API integrations, and security models
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project)

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead initiatives with minimal supervision
• High attention to detail and organizational abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in higher education, healthcare, or logistics depending on organization context
• Capstone certification or formal training
• ITIL, PMP, or Agile certification
