Primary duties:
- Review, analysis, research and engagement with Customer’s internal development teams to review existing SGUI source code to create a full assessment of integration points and data protocols (some of which are currently not known or documented by Customer), producing technical requirements and user stories for frontends and backends of existing and future systems.
- Development and ownership of the full spectrum of the technical documentation ranging from technical notes to full blown system specifications.
- Development and documenting of system architecture and software design, including software components, APIs, data flows, GUIs, data formats, etc. in cooperation with architects and technical leads.
- Provide informational support for customers, developers, QA engineers, integrators, and other colleagues regarding product, feature, and requirements knowledge.
- Continuous maintenance and improvement of the company knowledge bases using Confluence, Jira, SharePoint.
Qualifications required:
- Degree in computer science or a proven track of related experience and education.
- Advanced technical knowledge of systems analysis and requirements management for user interfaces and backend components.
- Understanding of typical software and hardware limitations and awareness for applicable remediation methods.
- Ability to produce technical documentation with various level of details and targeted at different audiences.
- Attention to details, completeness, integrity of the produced documentation.
- Good analytical skills in networking, databases, and systems architecture.
- Strong information discovery skills by means of exploration of the IT systems and through personal communications.
- Goal-focused person. Positive 'Can Do' attitude.
- Strong skills in technical writing. Ability to develop technical documentation by reading source code using IDEs or other development tools.
- General knowledge of data processing, hardware platforms, software applications, client/server architectures and standard communications protocols.
- General knowledge of and experience with development, programming, testing and implementation tools and techniques.
- Experience of researching and analyzing system changes, and writing system requirements documentation, data mappings, system functional specifications.
- Ability to support multiple projects in an agile environment with minimal guidance and direction.
- Fluent written and verbal English language communication skills.
- Software development experience is of an advantage.
