As our systems continue to grow in complexity, integration scope, and regulatory exposure, we are looking for a Tech Lead who can provide strong technical direction, support engineers in day-to-day execution, and help ensure the team delivers high-quality solutions.

The Role

This role sits between architecture and execution. It is not a purely managerial position, and it is not limited to high-level technical design. We are looking for someone who can guide technical work across a team of experienced engineers, contribute to important design and implementation decisions, and help the team deliver stable, maintainable, and production-ready systems.

The right person for this role should be comfortable leading technical discussions, reviewing solutions, mentoring engineers, and stepping into complex topics when needed.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and support a team of engineers working on .NET-based systems in a fintech environment.
• Provide technical direction across backend services, integrations, distributed systems, and selected frontend work where relevant.
• Review architecture and implementation decisions with a focus on quality, maintainability, performance, and reliability.
• Help engineers solve complex technical problems and make sound design decisions.
• Set and reinforce engineering standards across the team.
• Work closely with architects, DevOps, product, and compliance to align technical execution with business and regulatory requirements.
• Help translate business and product needs into clear technical direction and realistic implementation plans.
• Identify technical risks early and support the team in addressing them in a practical way.
• Drive good practices in code quality, refactoring, testing, and operational ownership.
• Provide mentoring and day-to-day guidance to engineers while maintaining clear expectations and accountability.
• Stay hands-on where needed, especially around critical services, difficult integrations, and complex production issues.

Tech Must-Haves

You should be technically strong enough to lead by example, with solid practical experience in:

• .NET / C#, including correct async/await usage, memory and threading concepts, performance considerations, and production diagnostics
• Azure, including App Services, Azure Functions, AKS, Service Bus, Key Vault, and Azure DevOps
• Microservices and distributed systems
• T-SQL, including query design, performance tuning, and indexing
• External integrations and APIs, including third-party service providers
• Angular, with sufficient practical understanding to review and guide implementation when needed
• Refactoring and testing in production-grade systems
