About the role:
As an IT Architect, you’ll help design the foundation for how our global fintech platforms perform and scale. Your expertise will influence selecting, operating and administering systems and software for our environment that supports vital business processes.
What you will do:
- Build a deployment pipeline for various FIS solutions based in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure
- Use infrastructure-as-code to build an automated deployment framework for new customer deployments and upgrades
- Use PowerShell and other scripting languages to automate the configuration of new systems
- Build tools and a framework for scanning and automatically creating deployment specifications from existing environments
- Strong IT skills particularly in understanding cloud environments and Infrastructure-as-Code and DevOps technologies
- Support customers and customer-facing teams on hosting related topics
- Determine root causes of issues and provide alternative solutions to problems
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or science-based subject
- Experience with DevOps or Infrastructure-as-Code
- Experience working as part of a large diverse, global team
- Excellent debugging, problem solving, and analytical skills
- Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
- Self-motivated and capable of working with little supervision at times
- Excellent communication, collaborative disposition
- Experience working as part of a large diverse, global team
Bonus if you have:
- Experience automating deployments using PowerShell
- Experience using Terraform to automate Cloud deployments
- Technical knowledge of cloud infrastructure and technology
