UI Designer

We are currently looking for an UI Designer, with strong skills and proven experience who is ready to dive into MOVU, one of the top startups in Switzerland, for a full-time engagement, to join our team of passionate IT professionals, here in our Belgrade office. MOVU is an established startup located in the heart of Zurich and part of Baloise Insurance. The relocation platform launched In May 2014 and has since organized more than 15’000 moves. MOVU offers its clients a relaxed moving experience, whilst bringing transparency to the Swiss relocation market. The young company has already established itself as the most well-known and largest relocation platform in Switzerland with more than 5’000 service requests per month.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• 2+ years of work experience as a UI Designer or a similar role
• Profound experience in interaction design and visual design for web and mobile applications
• Proficient in using tools for pre-visualization, prototyping, spec creation & component-based design (eg. Sketch, Invision, or similar)
• Experience with working with Agile software development process
• Solid understanding of how design is translated into HTML and CSS
• Proven ability as a solid hands-on practitioner demonstrated through a diverse body of work focused on user interface design (portfolio)
• Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written
• An embodiment of a positive attitude and motivation to deliver the highest quality work in a constantly changing, fast-paced environment

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Working alongside designers, product managers, engineers to define, solve and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and experience
• Developing and maintaining detailed UI specifications within our design system and styleguide
• Brainstorming, proposing and designing creative solutions that could take the products to the next level
• Supporting the managers in the presentation and production of assets
