Position:
Fully integrated to our Aladdin eFront Engineering Team, you will be exposed to both the technical and functional layers of our most innovative products, while acquiring a unique skillset in the fast-growing Private Equity industry, and Alternative Investments in general. You will be a part of international and agile environment, with a strong drive for technical innovation.
Product:
We are reinforcing our software engineers in charge of the development of eFront Insight, the fastest-growing product of eFront (a part of BlackRock), dedicated to Alternative Investment companies.

Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor or Master’ degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Sciences, Mathematics, Organizational Sciences or related software engineering background
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in performance testing – Performance Test Planning and execution, Test Estimation, Test Strategy, Test Case Design, Test Environment setup, Test data setup, Defect Management and Configuration Management
- Knowledge of Performance Testing Tools (like JMeter, Neo Load, Load Runner, Blazemeter)
- Willing to work on and explore BlackRock’s inhouse bespoke performance testing tool
- Strong programming skills and knowledge of one of the following : C#, Java, JavaScript, Python
- Design and execute the load and performance test according to requirements
- Create/design the performance script framework by using different functions, methods, and programs
- Collaborate with product and technical leaders to provide insightful feedback on the process, architecture, implementation, and quality of the product
- Integrate performance testing into the CI/CD pipeline and work with development teams to ensure all changes are tested prior to production deployment
- Work with business to understand projections for system utilization and assist development teams in translating the projections into system test targets
- Analyze system performance from real world scenarios to ensure that load testing NFRs properly reflect application utilization and update test scripts as appropriate
- Experience with automated API and UI testing (good to have)
- Strong communication, time management, organization, attention to detail
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Experience with cloud technologies (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker, OpenStack) is a plus
- Interest in the functional part of the product, any knowledge about Finance industry will be highly appreciated
- Curiosity and drive to learn new things and build new solutions
