QA Engineer - Big Data

The role:

We're currently looking for a Big Data QA engineer to join our team in our Belgrade office for our new and exciting data warehousing and data governance project for a large enterprise. This is a full-time position and our colleagues also have the opportunity to work on various other projects in different domains.

Your responsibilities:

• In charge of creating an end-to-end test plan in Manual testing
• Making sure that testing is well defined, planned, and executed
• Consistently execute test cases with Mobile and Web applications (manual and/or automated) and analyze results
• Collaboratively hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members
• Provide detailed bug reports to development teams to resolve
• Oversee testing on a project level
• Stay on top of the latest QA tools and trends
• Ensure products meet or exceed the specified standards, acceptance criteria and end-user requirements
• Be an integral part of an Agile lifecycle

Your qualifications:

• 2 - 3 years of experience in similar QA roles
• Strong web/mobile testing skills
• Significant experience with SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Keen on details, open-minded, curious, eager to learn with great people skills
• Be an analytical problem solver
• Shows curiosity about innovation, and an ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
• Great communication skills
• Proficiency in English

Nice to have:

• Automation testing experience
• Knowledge of Java, CSS, HTML
• Familiarity with adb commands
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field
