.NET/MVC Web Developer

Jackpot is looking for a .NET/MVC Developer to join our software development team. Your Responsibilities will include: 

• Creating or modifying complex programs, modules, routines, scripts, and data objects from a detailed design where efficiency, performance and reliability affecting a major portion of the system
• Designing, developing, and implementing software functionality
• Monitoring the use and performance of systems and code having performance in mind
• Consulting with IS staff and users on technical issues relating to systems.
• Providing production support and handling the issues.

Qualifications:

• +2 years of professional experience in software development (or equivalent practical experience for junior candidates)
• Strong knowledge of C# and experience with .NET Framework and/or .NET Core (.NET 6+)
• Experience developing web applications using ASP.NET MVC
• Solid understanding of front-end technologies including JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery
• Experience with Entity Framework and/or Dapper ORM
• Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server
• Writing and optimizing stored procedures
• Designing queries and understanding relational database concepts
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and client–server architecture
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

Nice to Have (Advantages)

• Basic knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Experience with EC2, S3, RDS, or Lambda is a plus
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Understanding of microservices architecture
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
