Frontend Team Lead - SMG Automotive Team

This job refers to the Automotive brands Autoscout24, Motoscout24, and CAR FOR YOU. We are on a journey to simplify our products and strengthen our technology stack through a large-scale rewrite. We’re building on a modern cross-platform stack with Flutter, following best practices and striving to build/measure/learn at a high cadence.

Together with our partner, we are looking for a: Frontend Team Lead

to join a frontend team that collaborates with designers, product managers, researchers, QA, and engineers from other fields.

Your responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship valuable product increments
• Identify bottlenecks in the process and roadblocks to success and help clear these roadblocks
• Actively contribute to code without blocking or slowing down the progress
• Review Typescript code and give valuable feedback to your peers
• Ensure technical excellence within the cohort of report
• Manage personal growth and career progression of individuals
• Build psychological safety and foster trust

Your profile:

• Extensive experience working on modern web applications
• Fluency in Typescript and Javascript
• Solid with testing frontend code
• Prior experience in a technical leadership role with aspects of people management
• Fluent in English for both written and spoken communication
• Eagerness to learn and understand the business vision, strategy, and its priorities

Nice to have:

• Prior experience as an Engineering Manager or Team Lead
• Experience with React component libraries, Kubernetes, Next.js
