Are you passionate about highly advanced embedded systems? If yes, then this role might be just for you. As a Hardware Quality Engineer in the automotive industry, you will cover the planning and systematic means for assuring management that defined automotive standards, practices, procedures, and methods of the process are applied.

Your Tasks

Ensure quality planning, control, and quality support in hardware development and testing
Establishing quality policy and quality objectives and achieving those objectives
Quality improvement activities including tracking, analyzing, reporting, and problem solving using recognized quality tools
Conducting quality control in the field of automotive evaluations and must not be the person who develops the software, hardware,e or product or who is responsible for the hardware product, which, however, does not preclude the person from taking part in these evaluations
Assuring compliance with the project plan, as well as to initiate and verify corrective actions
Know how to coordinate Preventive and Corrective Action
Continuous training of the team to ensure good knowledge about automotive standards, procedures, and practices
Contributing to the fulfillment of all goals assigned to the TTTech Auto Quality team
Know how to prepare and coordinate Quality, Supplier, Process, and Configuration Management Audits
Evaluate the execution of quality-related tasks, project activities, and artifacts, including performance of project audits, documentation, and reporting
Identifying risks and opportunities and implementing appropriate measures
Involvement in quality activities on the project level
Guidance on quality-related methodologies and standards ensuring consideration and fulfillment of industry and customer-specific requirements
Knowledge about Quality Assurance related to embedded software is a plus

Your Profile

Technical education (M.Sc.) with a focus on electrical engineering, electronics, computer science or similar
Several years of experience and profound knowledge of hardware development, preferably in safety- and security-critical environments.
Profound knowledge in VDA 6 including VDA 6.2, VDA 6.3, and VDA 6.5
Good at Advanced Production Quality Planning (APQP) including Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
Profound experience in applyingthe IATF 16949 standard.
Knowledgeable about DFMEA and PFMEA
Knowledge of ISO 26262 and agile development methodologies.
Communicative personality who appreciates to work in an international environment.
Proactivity, flexibility, solution-orientation.
Accuracy, ability to assert yourself, and perseverance.
Ability to manage and pursue a portfolio of various and changing tasks.
Very good command of English language, German is a plus.
