IT Application Support Engineer

If you find it interesting to:

• By using SQL and Linux skills provide IT application support and proper functioning of IT Postpaid systems for several companies within A1 Telekom Austria group
• Work on Incident/Change/Problem management for IT Postpaid systems
• Proactively resolve issues indicated by any non-typical behavior of the system
• Take part in demand management and business analysis processes for new functionalities
• Organize and carry through functional testing for the systems releases and new features
• Monitor data and reports deviations and errors in business systems
• Optimize business systems for improved performance and operability
• Deploy new systems, services or functionalities to the production environment
• Develop new tools, applications and scripts
• Produce reports ad-hoc and/or on a regular basis

If you have: 

• Experience in technical application support of IT systems
• Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux and Shell scripting
• Knowledge and experience with Telco Billing systems will be considered as plus
• Fluency in English
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Technical problem solving skills and analytical troubleshooting skills
• University degree in technical sciences will be considered as plus
