IT Business Analyst

You will:

• Provide the first line support for the clients regarding received incidents
• Manage different requests from clients in terms of Customer Support
• Triage incoming incidents whether they are application defects or new enhancements, assess severity and business value
• Analyze reported issues from the business perspective
• Participate in the meetings with clients regarding crucial incidents and provide support to the clients
• Propose the business solution aligned with technical feasibility provided by Tech lead
• Assist QA in incident reproduction
• Be involved in the process of planning and implementation of e-banking digital solutions including planning team’s activities in line with the scheduled deliveries
• Evaluate the feasibility and business benefits of the requirements together with the product management, clients and project management
• Lead the process of identification of requirements, ensuring the quality of specifications through reviews and walkthroughs
• Work closely with developers and testers in order to provide economic and high quality software as well as the best possible „time to market“
• Document application changes and create specifications
• Verify the achieved results and assist the testing team
• Successfully participate in the agile product development environment and implement agile procedures
• Work together with other business analysts in the development team on implementation, verification and documentation of the solutions
• Contribute with your proposals to the continued improvement of BA services within the company

You have:

• University degree in business/computer science (or equivalent)
• 3 years of practical experience as business analyst or business consultant
• Good technical understanding of software development
• Business knowledge within the financial and banking sector, ideally in digital solutions
• Knowledge of e-banking solutions is a plus
• Familiarity with agile terms such as iterative requirements engineering, product ownership, backlog-management, bugs, incidents, user stories
• Knowledge of tools such as JIRA and Confluence is a plus
• Ability to think analytically and conceptually with structured approach, to work independently with great personal initiative, sense of responsibility and convincing appearance
• Good spoken and written English skills (knowledge of German language will be considered as advantage)
