Junior BI & Data Engineer

As a Junior BI Engineer at GET, you'll dive into the full data lifecycle, from building robust ETL pipelines and designing data models to crafting insightful reports and dashboards. Responsibilities:

• Design, implementation and maintenance of complete solutions in area of data and analytics
• Supporting design of data strategies, data architecture, data quality, data security and data governance topics
• Design, implementation and maintenance of data extraction and data transformation pipelines (ETL)
• Design, implementation and maintenance of DWH/DLH data models and data transformation layers
• Design, implementation and maintenance of reports, including data models, visualizations and KPIs
• Supporting environment maintenance, optimization, troubleshooting and fixing issues on the environment
• Collaboration with stakeholders and business users in ensuring overall business goals are fulfilled
• Collaborating closely with stakeholders and business users to gather, analyze and evaluate business requirements and translating them into technical specifications
• Collaborating closely with stakeholders and business users and supporting them during usage of environment
• Ensuring the accuracy and consistency of data delivered to stakeholders and business users
• Identification, troubleshooting and resolving issues and communicating solutions via JIRA ticketing system

About you:

• 1+ years of experience as a BI Developer, Data Engineer or related positions/or
• Faculty knowledge for these positions
• Strong technical aptitude in the BI space – Data Warehouse/Data Lakehouse, ETL,
• Reporting
• Familiar or experienced in software like MS Management Studio, Tableau, Power
• BI, Qlik View or similar tools
• Hands-on experience in SQL (or python) and relational database concepts
• Hands-on experience with backend ETL for data extraction and building DWH/DLH data models
• Detail-oriented person with strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
• Proficient in written and spoken English
• Genuinely curious and constantly striving to learn
• Strong dedication to quality

It would be a plus to have:

• Familiarity with MS Azure technology stack (Data Lake Storage, Data Factory, Databricks, Azure DWH or similar tools), or Microsoft Fabric
• Familiarity with Snowflake and accompanying technologies such as Matillion, dbt, Fivetran
• Experience in providing complete solutions based on customer requests
• Experience in execution and maintaining complete project lifecycle
• German language skills
• Experience in an international team and communication with international customers
• Familiarity with logistics and/or banking processes
