Grow surf specializes in Magento/Shopware and e‑commerce solution development. We work with international clients on the development and maintenance of webshops, B2B platforms, and mini‑applications. Our team combines programming expertise with an understanding of business processes to deliver reliable and adaptable systems.
Why Are We Hiring?
To meet existing project needs and launch new in‑house initiatives, we are hiring two junior PHP developers who will:
- Work on Magento and Shopware projects with mentor support, gaining a solid foundation in these platforms.
- Develop mini‑applications and plug‑ins for e‑commerce solutions.
- Collaborate with senior colleagues.
Who Are We Looking For?
Required:
- Solid understanding of PHP and object‑oriented programming.
- Minimum 1 year of experience with a modern PHP framework (e.g., Symfony, Laravel, CodeIgniter).
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Experience with relational databases (MySQL/MariaDB).
- Understanding of SOLID principles and Git.
- Solid English, spoken and written.
Preferred:
- Experience with Linux/Unix environments.
- Familiarity with PHPUnit or other testing tools.
- Experience with Magento
- Basic understanding of Node.js.
What Do We Offer?
- Work model: Remote
- Contract: This role begins with a 3‑month trial/probationary contract, after which, upon successful completion, the position transitions to a permanent employment contract.
- Starting salary: €800–€1 100 net, depending on experience.
- Real project work: including development and maintenance of Magento/Shopware sites and internal tools.
- Flexible schedule: emphasis on efficiency rather than clock hours.
- Paid leave: 20 working days plus national holidays.
