Junior QA Engineer — AssetTagz (Belgrade)

AssetTagz is a SaaS platform for equipment safety compliance and asset traceability used on major infrastructure projects across the UK. We're looking for a junior QA engineer to join our Belgrade team.

What you'll do

• Write and execute test cases across web UI, REST API, and mobile application (Android/iOS)
• Run regression testing each sprint and ahead of releases
• Log and track defects clearly — good reproduction steps, evidence attached, nothing ambiguous
• Work with the BA and developers to understand requirements and flag gaps before development starts
• This is a hands-on manual testing role to start — automation comes later as you build platform knowledge

What we're looking for

• Final year student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
• Solid grasp of relational databases and SQL — you'll be querying the database to verify what the UI shows you
• Comfortable with Git and able to read code at a basic level
• Analytical — good at finding edge cases, precise when writing up issues
• Fluent English, written and spoken — our implementation team and customers are UK-based
• Works well in a structured sprint process; QA is part of delivery here, not an afterthought

Bonus points

• Any exposure to mobile testing (Android or iOS)
• Background in technical writing, test plans, or documentation
