Junior QA Engineer

We are looking for Junior QA Engineer who possesses a keen attention to detail and is enthusiastic about ensuring software quality throughout its entire lifecycle, from test planning to test execution.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create comprehensive test scenarios and test cases for the entire system, focusing on end-to-end testing.
• Conduct manual testing, encompassing functional testing and regression testing.
• Ensure adherence to quality acceptance criteria.
• Execute product verification and quality control activities.
• Perform exploratory testing to uncover defects.
• Efficiently report, track, and troubleshoot defects.

REQUIRMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent (ETF, PMF, FON).
• Experience in using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Familiar with industry best practices and testing methodologies.
• Good understanding of the software development life cycle.
• Experience with documenting and executing test cases.
• Logical and analytical thinking in identifying scenarios.
• High attention to quality and detail.
• Communicative, analytical and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to manage time, priorities and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work individually and as part of distributed cross-functional teams.
• Good written English skillset.

BONUS SKILLS:

• Experience with non-functional testing (e.g. performance, scalability).
• Experience in automated testing.
• 1+ year of experience in testing web applications.
• Experience in UI testing, REST API testing (Postman) and database testing (SQL queries).
