We are looking for:

Medior BI & Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain data analytics solutions and strategies
• Develop and optimize data extraction and transformation pipelines (ETL/ELT), focusing on incremental data processing and aggregations using Azure Databricks and Synapse Analytics or similar, while contributing to the optimization of existing processes
• Participate in designing and optimizing data models and transformation layers within Data Lakehouse environments, leveraging the Medallion Architecture
• Design, implementation and maintenance of reports, including data models, visualizations and KPIs
• Collaborate with product owners, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data needs and provide technical solutions
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, support the optimization of the data analytics environment to ensure high availability and performance
• Collaborate with clients and internal product teams to analyze business requirements, participate in the preparation of technical project documentation and contribute to the design of data solutions
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions, following best practices, and progressively taking on more responsibility in organizing technical tasks

About you

• 2+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, or related roles
• Extensive experience with:
• SQL and relational database concepts (e.g., MS SQL, Oracle, DB2)
• ETL/ELT tools and data integration (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks or similar) for batch and near-real-time processing
• Data Lakehouse and DWH design and implementation, including data modeling is a plus
• Python programming for data processing and analytics
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail
• Readiness to learn and adopt new technologies, demonstrating a strong commitment to quality
• Excellent communication skills, with experience in client-facing roles
• Fluent in English

It would be a plus to have

• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric
• Experience in providing complete solutions based on customer requests
• Experience in leading and mentoring junior developers
• Experience in execution and maintaining complete project lifecycle
• Good knowledge of any of the following languages: Python, R, C#, Java
• Knowledge of streaming technologies, distributed storage, containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes), and serverless computing
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., JIRA) and version control (e.g., Azure DevOps)
