MG Group HR Services is a leading HR and staffing agency in Serbia and the region. For our client, a global IT company with a development and operations hub in Belgrade, specialized in delivering software solutions and infrastructure support to international partners in telecommunications, finance, and e-commerce, we are looking for a motivated professional to join their team as NOC Tier 2 Technical Support Engineer. As part of a 24/7 Network Operations Center team, you will serve as the key link between Tier 1 support and engineering teams. Your role will focus on ensuring system reliability, resolving escalated incidents, and maintaining service availability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor infrastructure, platforms, and services using tools such as Grafana, Kibana, NewRelic, and Sentry.
  • Investigate and resolve incidents escalated from Tier 1 support.
  • Manage tickets and provide structured root cause documentation.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to resolve complex issues.
  • Participate in post-mortems and improve operational runbooks/playbooks.
  • Validate deployments and perform system performance checks.
  • Provide mentoring and knowledge sharing to Tier 1 analysts.

Requirements:

  • 2–4 years of experience in NOC, IT Operations, or Technical Support.
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, Linux systems, and DNS.
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring tools (Grafana, Zabbix, Datadog, New Relic, Sentry).
  • Strong knowledge of incident management and escalation processes.
  • Ability to document procedures and act effectively under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Scripting knowledge (Python, Bash).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and observability tools.
  • Previous experience in high-availability environments.

Work Conditions:

  • Rotating 24/7 shifts including weekends and holidays.
  • On-call rotation may be required.
