Principal DevOps Engineer (GCP)

We are seeking a skilled Principal DevOps Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, installation, optimization, and maintenance of DevOps-based solutions. The role includes working with all DevOps tools, analysis of existing platforms, development consulting for change requests, and development and delivery of custom solutions as per customer's requirements or our suggested implementation specification.

Requirements:

• Total experience of 7+ years, with at least 4 years of experience in various cloud platforms such as Azure, GCP, AWS, and/or GitHub CI
• Experience in telco OSS domain
• Extensive experience with Configuration Management such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Docker, and Windows PowerShell DSC
• Fluency in languages including Python, Ruby, PHP, Golang, and Java
• Experience with search engines like ElasticSearch, as well as Microservices/API
• Experience with DevOps tools like Gitbun CI, TeamCity, Jenkins, and Helm
• Excellent understanding of cloud networking, and security such as software-defined networking/firewalls, virtual networks, and load balancers
• Advanced configuration and management of databases such as Oracle, Cloud SQL, and Cloud Spanner

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Kafka, ZooKeeper, Hazelcast, Pub/Sub
• Awareness of critical concepts of Agile principles
• Certifications in various professional Cloud DevOps
• Advanced experience with Agile/SCRUM environment
• Familiarity with Agile Team management tools (JIRA, Confluence)
• Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services
• Understanding the skills of various Infrastructure Automation Tools
