Reporting to the Sr. Cyber Ops Engineer. The Security Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and compliant environment. The Security Infrastructure Engineer a seasoned professional, with a broad technology background, and a proactive self-starter who can help build out an operational security model. A thought leader in the field who helps rapidly improve security posture and provides expert-level remediation of problems within the environment.
Specific Responsibilities
- Define and create global policy and procedures from an operational perspective and build out executive dashboards and reporting
- Establish the security capabilities including monitoring, pervasive detection, coordinated response, efficient remediation, tools engineering, regular testing, and hardened provisioning
- Work cross-functionally with other technology towers to help implement and monitor security controls to proactively identify risk issues and ensure adequate security solutions are in place throughout all systems
- Active contributor in an architectural/design team and strong skills in identity management
- Responsible for vulnerability management and remediation, owning and driving the company’s information security process, relating to corporate infrastructure security, regulatory compliance, and audits
- Configure and manage security tools, alerts, and policies
- Provide executive dashboards and reports for the management team
- Collaborate with Cyber Security team and senior management across the company to prioritize security initiatives
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of Information Security and operations experience
- Deep experience in security engineering principles, infrastructure technologies and Azure/AWS cloud
- Ability to understand and lead the Cyber Security discussion of what is needed to create a global, sustainable, and scalable IT infrastructure environment
- Knowledge of common information security management frameworks, such as ISO/IEC 27001, ITIL, COBIT, SANS and NIST.
- Experience investigating security incidents
Preferred Qualifications
- Any current security certifications and training are highly desired
- CCIE, CCNA, MCSE, GCUX, Linux+, CompTIA Security +, CompTIA Network+ certifications
- Azure, AWS security-related certifications
- ITIL certification desired
