Position Summary
The engineering Team is seeking a strong Senior Backend Engineer with expert knowledge in PHP and Laravel to further improve and develop its applications. You will be working on creating new features for a global product.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 8+ years of full-time backend development experience, ideally 5 years of experience in Object-oriented PHP and Laravel, preferably in a high-growth startup.
- Complete mastery of the Laravel framework and associated tools. Have built and shipped multiple large-scale projects with Laravel.
- Knowledge of relational databases, we use MySQL.
- Proficient with phpunit/Pest, Test Driven Development is your primary instinct.
- Experience in developing API integrations and SDKs using PHP best practices
- Experience with handling infrastructure in various AWS services. (ECS, Fargate, Lamda, RDS, Logging and performance monitoring in AWS)
- Working knowledge of Docker
Bonus points if you have
- Intermediate-level proficiency with ReactJS would be amazing.
- Expertise in Elastic search
- Experience with IaC, we use AWS CDK
- Previous experience in performance monitoring and optimization
- Proven success mentoring other developers
Key Responsibilities:
