Job title: Senior Network Automation Engineer

Office location: Serbia with Hybrid working (3 days in the office)

About the role and the Team:

Main tasks of this role are to integrate automation in network and optimize network management. Success would look like:

• Automated processes for network maintenance
• Network management platforms and automation tools integrated with other systems in an optimal way
• Efficient network management
• Minimal human errors in network operations

What will you be doing?

• Automation through Network Management PlatformsUse Network Management Platforms to optimize network management
• Develop Automation Using Scripting Languages and ToolsDevelop automation scripts based on Python and other scripting languages
• Develop automation based on automation tools (Ansible, Bash, etc.)
• Integration of Network Management Platforms and Automation Tools with Other SystemsIntegrate Network
• Management Platforms with other systems (OSS, diagnostic platforms etc.)
• Analyse and Identify Opportunities for Automation in Network and Operations TeamsUnderstand processes and procedures within Network Operation teams
• Translate manual workflows into designs for automated workflows
• Knowledge improvement and mentorship

What we are looking for:

• Engineering based degree ideally in Telecommunications or Computer Science - DESIRABLE
• Good understanding of IP/TCP, Ethernet technologies  
• Previous experience in a telco environment role focused network automation  
• Understanding scripting languages and tools (Python, Ansible etc.)
• Understanding of data serialization formats like JSON, YAML, XML
• Good knowledge and experience with NETCONF and RESTCONF protocols
• Experience with RESTful API
