Tasks
- Defining and developing features
- Maintaining and improving our core product
- Taking an active part in code reviews
- Actively helping other engineers whenever necessary
- Taking responsibility for code quality and testability
- Assuming a leadership role in time, by providing support and guidance to junior members
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software development
- Preferably Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science
- A profound understanding of data structures and algorithms
- Good knowledge of two major programming languages, ideally Python and JavaScript. If you do not know Python or JavaScript, we are happy to get you up to speed though
- Most important: Somebody with a curious mind and a fast learner
- Ability to bring the team together by nurturing a healthy and supportive work environment
- Clear communication skills and a pragmatic approach to solving problems
- Fluency in English
