We are looking for highly motivated and experienced full time Java/Node.js Developer, to join our Belgrade team.

About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in Java (optinal React) to join our fast-paced, dynamic technology team. In this role, you will be  responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our web-based applications, ensuring the highest level of performance and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend web-based applications using Java and React
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code that adheres to industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop technical solutions.
• Implement automated testing practices and ensure that software is thoroughly tested before deployment.
• Troubleshoot and debug code issues and provide quick resolution to ensure the best user experience.
• Mentor junior software engineers and help them grow in their careers.

We need you if you have:

• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Strong experience in backend Java/J2EE, with a minimum of 2 years in a senior software engineering role.
• Good understanding of frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate, JPA
• Familiarity with microservices (Spring Boot and Spring Cloud) and self-contained systems
• Extensive knowledge of web technologies and experience with web-based applications.
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with tools like Intellij Idea, Git, npm and Maven.
• Proficient understanding and experience of test driven development.
• Experience with domain-driven design.
• Compliance with clean code principles.
• BS/MS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledge of React.js would be considered as an advantage.
