Job title: Team Lead PLM (Global position in PWO Group Share Competence Center)

Location: SCC Serbia (Čačak, hybrid)

Your Mission

As Senior PLM Lead, you will hold end-to-end responsibility for the Product Lifecycle Management landscape across the PWO Group. You will shape the PLM vision, define the target architecture, and lead its global rollout—working at the intersection of engineering, IT, and business.

This is a senior leadership role, combining technical depth, architectural ownership, and strong stakeholder management across international sites.

Key Responsibilities

PLM Strategy & Architecture

• Define and own the group-wide PLM strategy aligned with PWO’s IT and business roadmap.
• Design and govern the PLM target architecture, covering engineering data, processes, and system integration.
• Drive the investigation, selection, and implementation of a future-proof PLM platform.

Global Leadership & Governance

• Lead and further develop the PLM team within the SCC, acting as both people leader and technical authority.
• Establish PLM standards, governance models, and best practices across all PWO locations.
• Ensure alignment between local engineering needs and global PLM standards.

Integration & Data Excellence

• Ensure seamless integration of PLM with:
• ERP (SAP),
• CRM / SRM systems,
• costing, quality, and project management tools.
• Drive high-quality product and engineering master data across the lifecycle.
• Enable transparency for product cost, change management, and compliance.

Technology & Innovation

• Promote modern technologies such as graph-based data models to represent complex product and process relationships.
• Lead API-based integration and scalable, cloud-ready PLM concepts.
• Actively shape the digital future of engineering within PWO.

Stakeholder & Change Management

• Work closely with Engineering, R&D, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Quality, and external partners.
• Translate business requirements into robust PLM solutions.
• Act as a trusted advisor for senior management on PLM-related topics.

Your Profile

Experience & Seniority

• Several years of senior-level experience in PLM, engineering IT, or enterprise application architecture.
• Proven track record of leading complex PLM initiatives in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Experience working in international, matrix organizations.

Technical & Domain Expertise

• Deep understanding of:
• PLM / PDM / EDM concepts,
• Engineering processes and CAx environments,
• System integration and data modeling.
• Experience with ERP, CRM, SRM, and costing system integration is required.
• Strong architectural mindset with hands-on technical credibility.

Leadership & Communication

• Confident leader with the ability to influence without formal authority.
• Strong communication skills in English (German is a plus).
• Strategic thinker with a pragmatic, delivery-oriented approach.
