Ubisoft Belgrade was established in 2016 and focuses on strengthening Ubisoft's presence on multiple platforms – PC and consoles. Your role is to support the content production art teams in achieving top-quality results within the context of the project.
As a Technical Artist, you will be in direct contact with various production teams, programming teams as well as other technical artists, to ensure that produced content is created and integrated according to the specifications.
Offering technical assistance to the art team in day-by-day production issues;
Creating and maintaining technical documentation;
Sharing best-practices and new tools with the other artists;
Implementing optimizations and monitoring the performance of the game;
Identifying and Implementing art-pipeline optimizations and automatizing;
Creating technical benchmarks to be used in production;
Implementing technical art features with the help of the programming team.
Experience in a full digital art content creation pipeline (high and low-poly modelling, unwrapping, baking, texturing, level art) is very appreciated;
Experience and interest in game editors and engines, commercial or proprietary;
Knowledge of real-time rendering challenges and techniques;
Strong interest in videogame development;
Knowledge and Interest in any of the following tech-art areas is also considered a plus: shading, scripting, lighting, rendering and post-effects, special FX, rigging and animation, physics simulations ;
Fluency in English.
