TEST DESIGNER
to join our Design & Development Department in Nis, Serbia
IMI Europe Design & Development Department in Sofia was founded in 2002. In the beginning the activities were linked to the development of household and industrial products. Nowadays the main focus of the Department is the automotive industry, following standards such as ASPICE and ISO 26262. This unit has strong capabilities in the area of motor drive, lighting, and power electronics. The same direction will be followed for the new IMI D&D department in Nis, Serbia.
General purpose of the job:
Design and Develop test plans, test set ups and report the results.
Key Deliverables:
- Working within the Test team in close collaboration with the Hardware and Software Designers;
- Creation and analysis of Test Requirements;
- Create System/Verification test plans;
- Design and build the test set-ups;
- Execute tests, create test reports and analyze test results;
- Report product defects in a defect tracking tool;
- Work with internal and external test laboratories.
Required competences and qualifications:
- University degree in the area of Computer Systems, Electronics or Information Technologies;
- Experience in the automotive industry;
- Technical knowledge of Test System Architectural definitions encompassing Electronics, Mechanical and Software disciplines
- Program skills in LabView and C programming language;
- Experience in CANape and CANoe tools is recommended;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Strong verbal and written skills in English.
Desirable experience/skills:
- Understanding of the development lifecycle (e.g. ASPICE);
- Familiar with IBM Rational DOORS and IBM Rational Quality Manager.
