We are seeking an experienced Software Testing Engineer with a track record of more than 3 years in various testing domains. If you're skilled in programming basics, test automation, and have a solid understanding of testing methodologies, this opportunity might be ideal for you.
As a Testing Engineer, you will play a vital role within our agile, sprint-based development setup and collaborate closely with Scrum Masters, developers, and QA teams from both Seavus and our client.
Project Details:
The project is within the fintech industry where our Denmark-based client requires development of payment solutions as an alternative to SWIFT wire transfers.
Key Qualifications:
- Proficiency in programming fundamentals, with a focus on languages like JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, C#, or Python
- Experience with test automation frameworks, particularly with Cypress, or Cypress and Selenium WebDriver
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration (CI) tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps
- Ability to analyze requirements and design comprehensive tests
- Defect reporting and prioritization skills
- Expertise in UI/UX and Cross Browser Testing
- Sound knowledge of Smoke, Sanity, Regression, and Exploratory Testing
- Exposure to Performance Testing methodologies
- Familiarity with Agile methodology and agile frameworks
Additional Requirements:
- Strong command of spoken and written English
- University Degree in Computer Science or a related field is a nice-to-have
- ISTQB, CAT, or other relevant software testing certification is a nice-to-have
- Hands-on experience in API testing
Engagement Description:
- Collaborating with QA teams, technical experts, and Product Owners on the client side
- Analyzing business requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to outline the scope of testing
- Ensuring that the software aligns with business requirements and specifications
- Prompt and accurate reporting of identified issues using issue tracking tools
- Delivering a comprehensive test summary report and release recommendations, reflecting the software's quality attributes
