What would be your job, you ask?
- Being involved in every aspect of the product development process from the initial concept of the next feature or product through its launch and any iteration.
- Collaborating with product and engineering colleagues in the creation of elegant and intuitive solutions that transform typically complex and antiquated insurance purchase and management workflows.
- Reviewing product requirement documents and engineering functional specifications to define test strategies and scope test efforts.
- Designing, implementing, and executing automated test suite for different applications.
- Diagnosing, debugging, and performing root-cause analysis of issues and defects
- Document test procedures and findings.
- Working closely with hardware and software development teams to ensure adequate/maximum test coverage/effectiveness.
You will stand out if you
- Have a general knowledge of QA and SDLC
- Are very familiar with QA terminology and practices, as well as standard software development lifecycle phases and their purposes.
- Have hands-on experience in writing automated tests
- Are very familiar with some of the existing tools for issue tracking and team collaboration (Jira, Bugzilla..)
- Have hands-on experience with programming/scripting languages (not any specific)
- Have hands-on experience with Selenium
- Are familiar with some of the tools/frameworks used for automated application testing.
- Are highly passionate about cracking the toughest challenges in tech
- Have an advanced level of English language knowledge (written and verbal)
- Have a BA degree in Computer Science or a related technical field / relevant education in programming (bonus)
