For our partners - Canadian online gambling company Pinnacle - we are looking for QA Lead from Serbia for remote work via B2B contractor contract.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of QA automation experience
- 2+ years in technical lead or senior automation role
- Strong experience with modern UI automation frameworks (Playwright, Selenium, Cypress)
- API testing expertise and automation tools
- Proficiency in Next.js, C#, Python, or JavaScript
- CI/CD pipeline integration experience
- SQL and database validation skills
- Experience leading/mentoring teams of 3+ engineers
- Excellent English communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with distribution, international teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Gaming, fintech, or regulated industry experience
- Knowledge of compliance and regulatory testing (PCI DSS, GDPR)
- Performance testing for high-volume systems
- Containerized test environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
- AWS or cloud testing services
- AI-assisted testing tools experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- ISTQB or QA certifications
Job Purpose:
As QA Automation Lead, you will design and implement automated testing frameworks for complex systems including gaming, wagering, and financial platforms. Leading a team of 3-5 automation engineers, you will drive our transformation from manual to automation-first testing while ensuring high-quality, compliance, and reliable software delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of 3-5 QA automation engineers
- Build and maintain comprehensive test automation for APIs, UI, and end-to-end flows
- Design automation architecture for complex system integrations and third-party services
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Establish code coverage metrics and automation reporting dashboards
- Drive automation-first approach for all new feature development
- Collaborate with North American teams and stakeholders across time zones
- Define automation standards and best practices for the team
