Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs with a focus on best practices.
• Deploy, manage, and optimize applications on AWS infrastructure, including services like Amazon EC2, S3, and CloudFront.
• Utilize vector databases (e.g., Pinecone) and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) processes.
• Deploy and manage machine learning models on AWS EC2 instances.
• Collaborate closely with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Ensure code quality through version control systems (e.g., Git) and maintain comprehensive documentation for backend processes and systems.
• Experiment with new stacks, tools, neural nets, and decentralized technology to drive innovation.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and its ecosystem.
• Extensive experience with AWS services, including Amazon EC2, S3, VPC, and CloudFront.
• Basic knowledge of Python and solid understanding of RESTful API design principles.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and version control systems (Git).

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and vector databases (e.g., Pinecone).
• Experience deploying LLM (Large Language Model) models on-device or in the cloud.
