QA Automation Engineer (Backend Team)

TeleTrader is announcing the following vacancy within its Market Data Server Department: QA Automation Engineer (Backend Team)

Market Data Server team is tasked with developing and maintaining high performance distributed backend services written in C++ for collecting, processing, storing and distributing real-time stock exchange market data.

Main Tasks:

• Implementation, execution, and improvement of automated tests
• Implementation, execution, and improvement of continuous integration tools
• Inside-out knowledge of the tested system
• Development of test strategies, creating test plans and test procedures
• Execution of test cases, using automated tools or manually
• Creation of test reports, defects investigation, and reporting
• Monitoring, maintenance, tweaking, and development of automatic backend testing systems

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer or a similar role, with at least 3 years of experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is considered as a bonus
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Good knowledge of programming languages like C# or Java
• Knowledge of Python
• Basic knowledge of C++ is considered a plus
• Extensive knowledge of software testing methodologies, QA processes, and best practices
• Ability to effectively communicate and cooperate with peers
• Fluent written and spoken English
