We are building the future of sports engagement by combining technology, data, and community to create smarter, more connected experiences for players, coaches, and fans. We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer (.NET) to join our growing engineering team and help us scale our platform to the next level.
What you’ll do
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable backend services using .NET (C#) and modern frameworks.
- Develop robust RESTful APIs (HTTP & gRPC) to support mobile and web applications.
- Work with Docker for containerization and ensure smooth deployments through Azure DevOps.
- Manage data storage and queries using SQL Server (T-SQL) and CosmosDB in Azure Cloud.
- Apply design and architectural patterns to build high-quality, maintainable solutions.
- Contribute to the design of distributed systems that handle high loads and ensure reliability.
- Collaborate with colleagues from the frontend and mobile team to deliver new features and improve performance.
- Participate in code reviews, provide mentorship, and share knowledge with peers.
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years of professional backend development experience.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in .NET (C#) and related frameworks.
- Proven experience with REST (HTTP & gRPC) services.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Visual Studio / VS Code, and Azure Cloud services (CosmosDB, Azure DevOps).
- Solid knowledge of CosmosDB and database design.
- Familiarity with distributed systems and microservices architectures.
- Strong understanding and active use of design patterns and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically about system design and scalability.
