Junior DevOps Engineer

We are hiring a DevOps Engineer - junior to join our team in Kragujevac.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Actively participates in the deployment and release of applications, ensuring smooth transitions across various environments.
• Responsible for configuring, monitoring, and maintaining both development and production environments to ensure high availability and performance.
• In charge of configuring designated jobs on CI/CD tools, maintaining cloud infrastructure, and developing automation scripts to optimize processes and support application stability.
• Works under the close mentorship of senior engineers, gradually taking on more complex and independent tasks as technical autonomy grows.
• Ensures timely and high-quality delivery of planned activities in line with defined roadmaps and deadlines. 

What You Bring:

• Understanding of DevOps culture, methodologies, and ways of working.
• Basic knowledge of Linux and system administration principles.
• Basic proficiency in Bash and/or Python scripting for automation.
• Foundational understanding of Git version control and CI/CD concepts.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Results-oriented mindset with a focus on quality, timelines, and delivery.

We Are Looking For Someone Who Has:

• 0–1 years of experience in IT, DevOps, or system administration (including internships, bootcamps, and personal projects; prior professional experience is a plus, not a mandatory requirement).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to align and collaborate with developers and system administrators.
• An open mind, flexibility, and a strong drive to learn and adopt the latest trends in software development and technologies.
• High responsibility, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
• Strong time management, planning, and organizational capabilities to meet deadlines.

Location: This position is based in Kragujevac. We are looking for candidates who can work in the office with possibilities to work remote few days in a week, so please apply only if you meet this requirement.
